Care

Meadowview Care Home provides dedicated residential care, dementia care and respite care. To provide a customised care plan, we will meet and get to know your loved one before they join us at their new home. That way, we can assess not only their needs but their personality, preferences, interests and individuality to provide them with personal care that is familiar, calming and comforting.

Our team of specially trained carers record and monitor your loved one’s care with a customised electronic plan through Care Control systems. This keeps you updated on the care your loved one receives for complete peace of mind.

Rooms

Meadowview Care Home may have once been part of a school, but our facilities are modern and comfortable, with plenty of open, communal spaces and gardens for our residents to socialise and relax.

Each of Meadowview Care Home’s 41 bedrooms is located around the communal areas for a real sense of community and belonging. Most rooms overlook the gardens or meadows and are all located on a single ground floor.

Rooms are fully-furnished, and include a bed, telephone, wardrobe, dressing table and wash basin. Our residents can also bring personal items and additional furniture to help them settle in with a little extra familiarity.

As a dementia care home, we know safety and comfort are important. Your loved one’s room has its own 24-hour call button and floor sensor mat for peace of mind. Rooms also have a memory box outside, filled with past treasures that are personal to your loved one to help them find their room with ease.

Dining

Our large, social dining room brings our residents together ensuring a homely feel to mealtimes. Your loved one will enjoy nutritious and tasty home-cooked dishes, with menus that are carefully prepared using fresh ingredients and, when possible, local produce. We also provide morning and afternoon teas with homemade, freshly baked biscuits and cakes, and hot and cold drinks are available throughout the day.

For our residents living with dysphagia, we prepare, puree and present meals carefully so your loved one can enjoy them safely and comfortably, without compromising taste and quality.

Find Us

Meadowview Care Home is in the leafy residential area of Penketh in Warrington. As the name suggests, it overlooks a meadow, which is currently home to horses. The single-storey home is also surrounded by beautiful gardens and patio areas for your loved one to enjoy.

Meadowview Care Home was originally part of a school site. The home is now a separate building, but two primary schools remain next door, even sharing the same access drive. The strong connection between older and younger generations remains through our intergenerational events, and the sound of children playing is a joy to our residents.

Our home provides residential dementia and respite care. Our staff are trained to support your loved one, as well as you and your family, with dementia and memory care needs, managed by Karen Garner.
